On audio languages, and why I prefer compilers

This was going to be an article about Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs) for audio, why AudioKit needs one for “scripting” the way DSP components go together, and why I believe it should be compiled rather than interpreted.

This morning I had a look at the state of SOUL, and realized that Julian is already way ahead of us. I venture to suggest: there are no other choices. We should just use SOUL.
